StackTeck Displays at Plastimagen Show Sustainability and Automation Technologies

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

March 10, 2025

Brampton, Ontario, Canada: StackTeck Systems Ltd., a global manufacturer of high-volume injection molding solutions for thinwall packaging, closures, PET preforms, personal care and medical products, will be showcasing their latest innovations in technology at this edition of the show, taking place from March 11th to March 14th in Mexico City, Mexico.

Static displays in StackTeck’s booth number 503, will feature the latest technologies with plastic parts and steel components. Show attendees will be able to learn about our latest patent pending 5 piece collapsing core technology with a unique display. The new design features improvement of the core collapsing mechanism, allowing for the first ever one-piece paint can molded using StackTeck’s collapsing core technology including all water-cooled components.

StackTeck will also have a show mold with an IML automation system running at Plastimagen 2025, molding ultra-thin 450 ml IML food tubs in a Sumitomo-Demag EL-Exis SP 420-2500 injection machine at the Avance Industrial booth number 1214. This show mold demonstrates StackTeck’s Thin Recess Injection Molding (TRIMTM) and will produce an ultra-thin container with sidewall panels at 0.3 mm thickness.  The IML automation has also been supplied by StackTeck for this show system, including high speed side entry robotics, in addition to downstream 100% vision system inspection by IMDVISTA, and downstream stacking. The IML labels for this system have been supplied by MCC Labels, and the parts will be molded with a Polypropylene Lumicene® resin supplied by TotalEnergies.

Christopher Day, LATAM Sales Representative stated: “We are very pleased to have the opportunity to be back at the Plastimagen Show and continue a dialogue with our customers about our latest developments. We are proud to be considered a one stop shop for our customer’s injection molding projects, as we see an increasing demand for complete molding solutions that even offer customized part inspection using vision systems, as well as special steps in handling of parts before they are ultimately stacked and loaded into the final shipping unit. We are constantly challenging ourselves to add more to our portfolio of mold & automation technologies, driven by current customer challenges in labor shortage, quality, and more sustainable options offering real advantages for our customers.”
