StackTeck’s Presence at Expo Plasticos includes 2 Innovative Closure Molds – Booth No. 318

Brampton, Ontario, Canada: StackTeck is pleased to announce they will be exhibiting at the Expo Plasticos 2021 Show that will take place in Guadalajara, Mexico from November 10^th to November 12th.

There will be two of StackTeck’s closure molds operating at the show featuring:

1. 1×4 Servo In-Mold Closing (IMC) Flip-Top closure mold: This flip-top servo IMC mold will be running in a Roboshot 110 Ton electrical 4 axes Artificial intelligence machine at the Milacron booth No. 200. The mold features a servo actuated IMC mechanism which as compared to a conventional IMC mold with a cycle time delay of 1.5 seconds for closing, this servo mechanism actuates in 0.75 seconds representing a 50% reduction in closing time. StackTeck has also used a KoolTrack^TM mold stack design for optimal cooling, resulting in reduced hold/cool time and an overall cycle time 3-4 seconds faster than a conventional flip-top closure mold.

2. 1×4 cap mold for a square shaped closure: This closure mold will be running in a SmartPower 210 ton semi electric machine at the Wittmann Battenfeld Booth No. 800 . It comes with a StackTeck valve gate hot runner for different types of resins and a clean gate vestige. This type of closure offers a very attractive and modern look to a variety of bottles making them space efficient on the retail shelves.

Static displays in the StackTeck booth No. 318 will feature the latest technologies with plastic parts. Some of these include servo driven technology for different applications, co-injection, multi-material, IML, PET preforms, closure technologies, and our toolbox of sustainable solutions for light weight applications.
