In the Ilsemann booth Hall 10, A-56, K Show attendees can see an IML system running a 4 cavity 6oz. cup mold utilizing labels by Verstraete and operating in an Arburg high speed machine. This is the latest TRIM design with IML for the very first single serve yogurt cup in the industry that is 20% lighter than a 300:1 L/T Cup.
In Krauss Maffei / Netstal’s booth Hall 15-B27/C24/C27/D24 a 2×24 StackTeck lid mold will be running in an ELIOS 7500 new high-performance machine with innovative drive technology that is optimally tailored to meet the rigorous demands of the competitive thin-wall packaging market. This show system will be in continuous operation during the show with a cycle time of 4 seconds. More than 43,000 round lids with a part weight of 2.8 grams are produced per hour with this 2×24 StackTeck mold.
The Milacron booth Hall 15, C-06 will feature a 4 cavity StackTeck mold of their “game changing Klear Can” with In-Mold Labeling (IML) running in one of their Milacron’s Ferromatik-Series machines using Verstraete labels and a high performance automation system from CBW.
