Brampton, Ontario, Canada: StackTeck Systems Ltd., a global manufacturer of multi-cavity, high-volume production molds for packaging, thin-wall packaging, closures, medical, and mold bases, will be showcasing five (5) of its precision, high-tech molds running in several booths of top tier machinery manufacturers.
In the Arburg booth W-3729, NPE attendees can see a 4 cavity IML lid mold running in clarified polypropylene resin from Total Petrochemicals. This 115mm lid will feature in-mold labeling (IML) of double-sided printed labels from label producer Verstraete. The system also features a Yudo IML Robotic system operating in a 290T Arburg machine.
In Engel’s booth W-1303 a 2×4 thin wall mold will be molding a 1.4 L ice cream container in a 650T e-speed Engel injection molding machine with a CBW high speed robot, as a demonstration of a fast cycling large scale thinwall system.
The Milacron booth W-2703, will feature two of StackTeck’s molds. Visitors to NPE can view a precision, highvolume production 24 cavity cap with five-piece collapsing cores (all core segments are water cooled) running in a 450T machine. For a second “must see” system, watch a 4 cavity mold built by StackTeck in a 280T machine running an innovative thinwall barrier container.
A second IML system will be running in Ilsemann Corporation USA’s booth W-991. This IML system will be running a 4 cavity 6 oz. cup mold utilizing special metalized labels by Verstraete. NPE attendees can see Ilsemann’s IML Robotic system running in a 180-ton BMB machine.
Machinery makers turn to StackTeck to showcase their equipment because of their confidence in StackTeck’s ability to design and manufacture precision, high-speed, high-volume production molds.
Static displays in the StackTeck booth W-1375 will feature new KoolTrack™ cooling technology, as well as the next generation TRIM (Thin Recess Injection Molding) for molding ultra-thinwall parts.
StackTeck not only designs and builds the molds, but has extensive capabilities such as in-house mold qualification, process validation and full system integration (robotics and automation), with the ability to perform system evaluations in house using state-of-the-art injection molding machines. The company also offers in-house training of its customers in the set-up, operation and maintenance of these high technology molding systems.
