Brampton, Ontario, Canada: StackTeck Systems Ltd., a global manufacturer of multi-cavity, high-volume production molds, has made important additions to their plant manufacturing capabilities.
This represents an investment of over $4 million dollars in new equipment over the last year. Lou Dimaulo, StackTeck’s Vice President Operations stated: “We’re delighted to see our customers are responding to the ever increasing range of products and services that we are offering to the industry. As a result, we have gone through a carefully planned reorganization in our manufacturing facilities, adding new premium precision technology, expanding capacity, and implementing processes for higher efficiencies. By combining lean manufacturing techniques, industry leading equipment, and new automation technology, we are targeting a reduction of typical lead times of 10-15% by mid 2015.”
